The Matchbox Gallery is pleased to offer prints from Kivalliq Inuit artists. The results of a print workshop held in 1995, these prints represent works by Kivalliq artists whose skills are recognized and respected throughout the world.
Featured below are works by Simon Tookoome, one of the truly great artists to come out of the Kivalliq region. Simon is also the co-author of “The Shamans’ Apprentice”, a popular text which tells the story of his early life in the Kivalliq.

There are many more works available than we can show you in this site. Once you contact us, we can give you further information regarding the artist, other works that are available, and shipping costs and arrangements. We can also arrange commission works by the artist of your choice. For U.S. customers, we will need to know your customs broker. We can also arrange these services for you if you need them.
